PS: sorry for the large images, what I uploaded is not so big but some resizing is happening without my consent. No, none of these conditions matter (COM1 and COM2 frequencies matter for the ATIS that you can hear at LSZH with the FG 2016.4.1 presets, but that is a different thing). Windows people will tell you more precisely. option after that with a space in between). I can't tell you precisely for Windows, basically you have to locate fgfs.exe and right-click on the file in Explorer, select Properties or something like that, where you can enter command-line arguments for fgfs (there should be -launcher at this place, add the -config=. This is because -config isn't recognized inside the built-in launcher's Additional options box. In addition to this, you have to call fgfs (the FlightGear executable) with the -config=./ATCChatter/config.xml setting, this in my case:Ĭode: Select all -config=/mm/flightgear-data/fgaddon/Addons/ATCChatter/config.xml And here is a screenshot showing what you need in the Additional options ( Settings tab): (see at the bottom of this message if the images are invisible) Here is a screenshot showing the Additional aircraft locations inside the built-in launcher's Add-ons tab: Kokos34 wrote in Wed 1:27 pm:Yes, I am using built-in launcher. If it isnt, can you give me link for downloading ATC Chatter? I am new in all this.Ĭode: Select all -config=C:/Flightgear/addons/ATCChatter/config.xml But keep -config on the fgfs command-line, IIRC. Probably also the -prop setting should go into Additional options ( Settings tab). You have to add the path to Additional aircraft locations inside the built-in launcher's interface ( Add-ons tab). if you are using the built-in launcher, it is likely that it doesn't recognize at least your -fg-aircraft option. This serves to keep the fgfs command-line clean when you don't want the chatter (and probably save a small amount of startup time). Also, you have two consecutive slashes in one of your paths (maybe harmless). I would greatly appreciate that somebody helps me with installation of ATC Chatter, since it sounds like an awesome feature to me. More likely cause is that I did some installation steps wrong. Maybe the problem is in me not downloading all. I looked in Nasal console and found no info about it being executed, but at this point I didnt knew what I was doing. config=C:/Flightgear/addons/ATCChatter/config.xml -prop:string:/addons/ATCChatter/path=C:/Flightgear/addons//ATCChatter -fg-aircraft=C:/Flightgear/addons This is the commandline I placed in fgfs: I read README, but I still didnt got it to work. I made a flightgear folder in my C:/, made new folder addons and there placed ATCChatter/sounds/UK. ![]() wav files from UK folder to test if it works. But if there is no alternative, I am ready to download all. If there is any alternative for downloading those files, I would like to know. I cant generate snapshot of the files it always says that generating has failed. In the 4.1 release notes I read that ATC Chatter has been re-introduced.
